A home energy audit is the systematic review of the interior and exterior of your home to determine it's energy use and the potential for increased savings and efficiency. A certified energy auditor will thoroughly examine your residence from basement to attic in a few hours. The auditor uses state-of-the-art testing and monitoring equipment to evaluate your home for potential energy savings and the overall health of your home. Detailed data will be collected, analyzed and presented in a comprehensive report outlining specific actions that will lead to lower energy bills and a safe, healthy home. The report will include a workscope allowing you to choose to perform the work yourself or contract with us to perform the retrofit work. Our retrowork always includes a blower door test and thermal imaging after the work is completed to help verify the results. During all audit work, you are welcome to follow along with our auditors, ask questions and learn about the energy use and safety of your home.
